  • The registration granted by TNPCB on the Online Waste Exchange Bureau website for the entities is solely for registering on the website and listing the waste products generated by them. This should not be construed as TNPCB'S approval of the respective industry under the Water Act, Air Act, or under any other rules under the Environment (Protection) Act, as amended.
  • The waste generators & receivers are solely responsible for obtaining, verifying, and ensuring the valid TNPCB consents, authorizations, and any other necessary approvals if applicable from competent authorities for any waste generation, handling, storage, transportation, and disposal as per notified rules.
  • The platform does not assume responsibility for compliance with any regulatory requirements.
  • The platform is committed to act only as a facilitator between Waste Generators & Receivers and does not guarantee the quality, legality, market value (Price), or accuracy of trading of any wastes or the credentials of participating entities.
  • The waste generators & receivers are encouraged to independently verify the regulatory compliance, suitability of waste trading, and participating entities before engaging in any agreements.
  • All the waste generators & receivers shall comply with the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016, SOPs of Handling Hazardous Wastes, and Guidelines issued by CPCB from time to time.
  • All the waste generators & receivers shall comply with the rules notified under the Environmental (Protection) Act, 1986, as amended for all the wastes and Guidelines issued by CPCB from time to time.
  • TNPCB will not be held liable for setting waste prices or cost transactions between waste generators and waste receivers.
